About

It is so gratifying and exciting to create your own beautiful jewelry. I’ve enjoyed working with beads since I was a young girl when I found the glass tubed beads in our Dublin Calif. five and dime. My store, Glorious beads, is a dream come true, a friendly and welcoming place, full of sunshine and inspiration. The cat Pretty Girl gives us a relaxed feeling. My past experiences include college at Cal State East Bay, travel as a stewardess with World Airways, hard work as a waitress in San Leandro, harder work as a Mom ,wife, and animal rescuer, and day care provider for 10 little girls (lots of beading projects!) Please come and visit Glorious Beads. We have everything you need to bead and more. Classes are really fun and educational.

Sincerely Gloria

In this edition of our Castro Valley history series, we’ll discuss one of the projects that made Castro Valley what it is today: the Castro Village.
