Sports memorabilia, celebrity signed photos. AJ’S ATTIC in 1997 in San Lorenzo, then moved to Castro Valley here now 16 years. We are more of a man store, but we also have ladies clothing and Jewelry and smaller gift items.

From World War II onward, Castro Valley shifted from a small farming town to a suburban bedroom community. As more and more young families came to Castro Valley, the town’s viability as a commercial center became more and more obvious. In this edition of our Castro Valley history series, we’ll discuss one of the projects that made Castro Valley what it is today: the Castro Village.
