- There’s $5 million set aside specifically to help with rent that will expire December 28, 2020.
- The program will cover up to 9 months rent or up to $18,000 whichever is less, for rents that have built up starting in March of 2020.
- Funds will be used to provide rental assistance to low-income tenants in unincorporated Alameda County who have lost work or income due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The application period opens on November 17, 2020 and will remain open until funds are exhausted or December 28, 2020, whichever comes sooner.
